Radio Over Moscow is an independent ‘band’ based in Auckland, New Zealand. I say ‘band’ as at this stage, it’s just me, but hey.

The debut album ‘Battletech’ was released on July 18, 2009, and the follow up, ‘Hide The Decline’, on April 23, 2010.

If nothing else, ROM sounds like a low-budget mix of Depeche Mode, Nirvana, New Order, Killers, Smashing Pumpkins, Beatles, Weezer, Human League, Manic Street Preachers, Primal Scream and Blur.

ROM is completely independent - if you pay for a track, the only people getting any money are myself and whichever service you buy the music through. The albums can be downloaded for free, or $NZ5 (minimum) in expanded, ‘deluxe’ formats.

I’m currently trying to sort out a live version of ROM -watch this space!

Lyrics are important in the Radio Over Moscow universe; you can find them here.

I used to record under the name luna spark. Here’s a zip file of the best of that pre-Radio Over Moscow era (don’t expect greatness).

Enjoy!
